You have a cover letter and resume, or ten scanned invoice pages, and you need one PDF. Most “free merge” sites upload your files to a server first. This guide shows how to combine PDFs privately in the browser with LocalPDF — reorder pages, download once, and keep contracts off someone else’s disk.

- Add two or more PDF files from your device. They stay in the browser; they are not uploaded for processing.
- Use Up/Down to set the final order (first file = first section of the combined PDF).

- Download the combined file (typically merged.pdf). Open it once to confirm page order.

When merge-without-upload matters
Merging is one of the most common PDF jobs — and one of the riskiest to outsource. Job applications, signed contracts, medical packets, and tax packets often contain identifiers you would not paste into a chat app.
